Jonathan graduated with First Class Honours in Master of Architecture (Professional) from the University of Auckland in September 2024. His academic journey also includes an earlier qualification in Finance and Management, earned in 2005. Jonathan’s thesis explored the concept of narrative-driven, intergenerational learning through storytelling, using cultural heritage as a framework to generate architectural details and spatial arrangements. This project was recognised with the A+W NZ / Sarah Treadwell Archive Award in 2023.

With five years of architectural study at the University of Auckland, Jonathan has built a strong foundation in both the conceptual and practical aspects of design. This academic expertise is complemented by eleven years of managerial experience in retail finance, which provides him with a unique understanding of project execution, budgeting, and team dynamics. Jonathan brings this well-rounded perspective to every project, blending creative vision with strategic insight.
