Joyce Ng
The Public Space Designer
Joyce entered architecture after obtaining an undergraduate degree in Geography and Sustainability at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. Following this, she moved to London to pursue architecture and studied first at the Architectural Association and then the University of Westminster, at which point she became a UK registered chartered architect.
Since graduating, she has worked for several years at muf architecture/art. Her previous work has involved landscape and public realm projects, redesigning and revitalising pockets of urban space such as the Brixton Recreation Quarter in south London. Her experience has involved a focus on engagement with local communities and stakeholders, endeavouring to produce work that addresses the concerns of local people.
Joyce’s enduring interest is in designing and creating shared, inclusive spaces whether they are social, educational or recreational. Joyce moved to New Zealand and joined Art of Fact in 2025.
